Christina Ricci will make her Broadway debut in Donald Margulies’ “Time Stands Still” when the play returned to the boards for a commercial run this fall.

Ricci will step into the role played in the spring by Alicia Silverstone in the show’s limited nonprofit engagement at Manhattan Theater Club’s Friedman Theater.

Although Silverstone is not returning for the commercial transfer, the rest of the cast — Laura Linney, Brian d’Arcy James and Eric Bogosian — will reprise the parts they played in the spring.

Linney is currently nommed for a Tony for her perf in “Time,” which also is up for the top play trophy.

Story centers on two journalists (Linney and James) who return to New York from the war zones they covered. Ricci will play the event-planner girlfriend of a photo editor, portrayed by Bogosian.

Helmed by Daniel Sullivan, “Time” starts previews Sept. 23 at a Shubert Theater to be announced. Manhattan Theater Club Prods., Nelle Nugent, Bud Martin, Ted Snowdon and Wendy Federman produce the commercial incarnation.
