Is on the national board of VOX-Voices for Planned Parenthood, which works to promote the mission of Planned Parenthood to young adults.

Is the national spokesperson for RAINN, which is the nation’s largest anti-sexual assault organization. She got involved with them after working on the film, Black Snake Moan.

Doesn’t drink, and used to smoke. She first said that smoking was only a form of teenage rebellion to her and said she’d quit soon, but apparently she got hooked. As of 2008, it appears that she has stopped smoking for good.

Christina says she got her eating disorder tips from an HBO movie with Calista Flockhart. “Body image is a really big problem. But I’m pretty much outside all that. None of my success is because of the way I look.”

Is botanophobic (which means the abnormal fear of or aversion to plants). “It’s more indoors plants. They are dirrrty. I don’t understand why you would bring dirt inside your house. If I have to touch one, after already being so repulsed by the fact that there is a plant indoors, then it just freaks me out.” She is also terrified of being eaten alive and scared of sharks.

She’d like to have a chocolate cheese cake named after her.

Always carries a copy of The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe around in her handbag.

“I’m pretty fucking naked. You can totally see my bush.” – on nudity on Prozac Nation. She says she didn’t have problems with being naked during the filming after going through such an emotional roller coaster with it.

There were four days total filming Prozac Nation when she didn’t have to cry or have a nervous breakdown.

Says that Tom Petty and his record Wildflowers got her through the filming of Prozac Nation. “It was like, Tom loves me. Maybe Tom wants me to be okay”.

Says that The Ice Storm was the first role she really wanted and eventually got.

Loves ties and men in business suits. “It makes me all giddy, and I start acting like a little girl.” She says it’s because of the problematic relationship she has with her father.

Loves cats.

Worships The Lord Of The Rings star Viggo Mortensen. She even named her cat, Viggo Mortetensfem after him! “The biggest lesson I learned coming out of The Lord of the Rings was there’s really no reason for me to go out with someone I’m not attracted to ever again. That’s what it taught me: Do not go out with ugly men.”

Finds comfort in falling asleep watching The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring.

Is obsessed with Jennifer Love Hewitt.

If she had been a boy, Christina would have been named Titian.

Dreams of a large family and wants to get married.

Had to turn down the role of Ronna in Go (1999) because of scheduling conflicts. The role went to Sarah Polley instead.

Was originally slated to play the lead in Ghost World (2001), but by the time it was filmed she was too old for the part and had moved on to other projects. Thora Birch took over the role.

Rejected a part in Loser because she had to say the line “I swallowed your cum and you won’t let me sleep on your couch?”. Mena Suvari took the part after Christina rejected it.

Was turned down four times for the role of Lolita in Lolita (1997), which eventually went to Dominique Swain.

Auditioned for the role of Young Amy in Little Women (1994) and Claudia in Interview With The Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994). Both roles went to Kirsten Dunst instead.

Turned down the role of Lauren in The Rules Of Attraction because of the rape scene in the beginning, which she found gross and offensive. Shannyn Sossamon took over the role.
